Dramaturgy in Community-Based Theater
In this article, Susan S. Haedicke claims that community-based dramaturgy is an activist form of dramaturgy which aims to alter and influence the actual world, not just reflect it. In order to look at dramaturgy in community-based theaters Haedicke examines how it functions not only within the production process, but also in its relationship to the audience community and to the larger social system.
